Good Faith Estimate
Information for uninsured and self-pay clients about the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate of expected charges.
Under federal law, health care providers must give patients who do not have insurance, or who are not using insurance, an estimate of expected charges for services when scheduling care or upon request. This is called a Good Faith Estimate.
If you are uninsured or self-pay, you may have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency services, including related costs. This estimate is not a bill and does not include unknown or unexpected costs that may arise during care.
How to request an estimate
You may request a Good Faith Estimate at any time before scheduling a service, or you can ask for one when you schedule a service. To request a Good Faith Estimate, contact NOVA Readiness Group at:
